HCBCPf Prayer Ministry

Prayer changes things, the bible shows us that in James 5:13-18. We also know prayer changes us, not God (Matthew 6:7-8). It’s a beautiful mystery how God allows us to work hand in hand with him as he reconciles this world to himself. Prayer is essential for us to share the gospel with every man, woman and child in our city. God stands ready to hear our prayer, he wants to hear from us (2 Chronicles 7:14). Prayer is not a stale religious exercise, it’s part of a vibrant back and forth relationship between God and his people. This is what I love about prayer.

Let me tell you about three ways you can get involved with prayer here at HCBCPf.

Day Of Prayer

Every 4th Tuesday of the month in 2016

We have joined over 50 churches in Austin to pray for our city non-stop. We adopted one day of the month as a church to pray. I am excited to let you know that every spot of ours was filled except three – 30 minute time slots. We have an 8am to 8:30am slot available as well as two slots from 2:30am to 3:30am available. sign up at the original Day Of Prayer post on The City HERE.

Sunday Morning Prayer

Every Sunday at 8:30am to 9am

Our elders have made a commitment to pray every Sunday morning at the house on the church property. Everyone is invited to come and start the morning off right with prayer. We would love to see many more individuals and families join us for prayer then. Just come on by the house Sunday morning at 8:30am.

Prayer During Services

9:15am and 11:00am during church

We have a small dedicated team of individuals who pray for the church services and the people attending them during both services on Sunday mornings in Danny’s office. If you have a big heart for intersession and consider yourself a prayer warrior, please join us as we pray during either church service. Let me know you’re interested and what service you would like to pray for with our team.

As always, if you have any questions contact me at icruz@hcbcpf.com.
