Middle School & High School Student Winter Retreat

We are excited to announce Home Groups starting this Fall. These groups exist to provide a safe atmosphere for students to connect to God, their shepherd, and each-other. More specifically, we hope Home Groups will foster a passion in students for the Word of God, deepen relationships with other students desiring to grow in their love and knowledge of God, and to ignite REAL disciples who are passionate about following Jesus and making other disciples.

On Sunday mornings we meet from 10:30am-12:15pm upstairs in room 204. Our prayer is for this time to inspire, challenge and refresh students to live the life of a disciple of Jesus. Everyone in 7th-12th grade is welcome to come. In fact, you can expect to be loved and welcomed by our family when you step in our doors! The morning includes a hangout time, a game, worship thru music, and a message rooted deeply in scripture.
Wednesday Nights: Home Groups + LIT + Chill Nights
Home Groups are explained above and happen on a weekly basis on Wednesday nights in various homes based on age and gender.
LIT is a connecting point for current students and a non threating touch pioint for those who are seeking God or completely disconnected from him. We will have fun eating together and playing game and end our time hearing the Gospel presented. LIT happens the first Wednesday of each month during the school year.
Chill Nights is a time for Home Groups to hangout and build relationship with one another. We believe a student needs to have deep and meaningful relationships to experience the full life of a disciple Jesus promised. Our prayer is that this time would assist that. Groups in the past have gone bowling, ate a meal, and bought a bunch of peoples laundry.
Throughout the semester we have planned events every month, in order to help build better community and engagement among our students. Events range from retreats, to service projects, to just having fun together.
RENEW - A life changing winter retreat for 7th - 12th grade students. Renew Winter retreat has changed the lives of many thousands, it's impact can't be quantified, it's simply amazing. With inspiring Biblical teaching, powerful, authentic worship and in an incredible enviornment in nature, we seek God genuinely and ask for him to Renew our hearts and minds and change the direction of our lives. Wherever you are in your walk with God, you need to come!
Friendsgiving - A thanksgiving themed meal on the first Wednesday in November that feels like family the moment you walk in. Expect a lot of students, a lot of food, and a moment of true thankfulness for all we have been given, most significantly, the new life Christ gives to all who believe in him.
Summertime... CAUTION... Participation in these events will change your life.
- Captain's Camp - Technically not in the summer but prepares our leaders for the Great Adventure. A weekend training event in April for our high school students who are interested in becoming leaders among their peers, especially for those who want to be Team Captians or Executive Officers (XO) for our Great Adventure Bible Club teams. The dates will be April 17-19.
- Boot Camp - This is a training camp for a week in June when we train students to be leaders, story tellers, and evangelists preparing them to lead our Bible Clubs. (Commitments to serve at Bible Clubs and attend Boot Camp are required in May.)
- Bible Clubs & Summerfest - Bible Clubs is a four day event in June where students share the Gospel and Bible stories with children in neighborhoods througout our surrounding areas. Summerfest is the community-wide carnival we have in our church parking lot on Friday of Bible Club week from 6:30pm-9:00pm. Games and activities are free. Food is fifty cents. Everyone is welcome!
