As we follow Jesus, we look beyond ourselves to serve those all around us.
We partner with organizations throughout Pflugerville to support our community.
71% of High School dropouts in the United States come from fatherless homes. Jesus called the children to come to him and we want to support strong foundations in the children with whom we have influence.
Between our fall event, Serve Your Schools, and constantly praying for our teachers & students, there are many ways we partner with and serve our local public school district. The main way you can serve the schools is by mentoring an elementary student for 30 minutes, once a week. The fatherless in our community thrive on an adult providing for them some one-on-one time. You would talk or play cards or do a puzzle or play with play-dough together. The task is small but the reward is huge. HCBCPF has received "Community Partner of the Year" awards from Wieland and Windermere Elementary Schools for the last ten consecutive years.
You would love to join this team if you desire to see abandoned children adopted, or if you would like to help parents through the process of becoming certified to foster children who need a temporary, loving home.
Join us at HCBCPF for the 15th annual A Future and A Hope Conference. We will watch the speakers via live stream together and have the opportunity to ask questions and meet other people from our church who are interested in foster/adoption. This year will be for those who are exploring fostering, adopting, and learning more about serving kids and families within the foster care community. Be confident in your next step by learning from our great speakers and finding out what role you can play. Be inspired by our keynote, SaulPaul, and his story of transformation.

Providing resources for unplanned pregnancies and to help moms prepare for a child is the heartbeat of this Christian based center. We partner with them to provide assistance, prayer, and other needs as they come up.
Each month our volunteers assist the residents in playing BINGO and spend some time talking and listening with them. We provide five holiday parties each year as well.
"Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained in a righteous life." - Proverbs 16:31
Those who desire to help people with handyman tasks would be great for this team. They are called upon when a need from someone in our church arises.

Kairos Prison Ministry serves the Lockhart Correctional Facility of female inmates. There are two main events each year in April and October. Those who serve in this ministry also do letter writing to and from the inmates throughout the year.
This ministry is wonderful to serve in if you have a desire to support single moms and widows in our community. They assist with basic car and home repairs.
If you are a single mom in need of some help, please visit Restoration Blessing's website to apply for assistance.
It's a scary experience to leave the familiarity of home and to arrive in an unfamiliar country. Refugee Services of Texas help assist families upon arrival at the airport to find their first home and learn the lay of the land. We get to be their first loving and gracious impression of Americans.
Prayer is an essential part of who we are as believers in Jesus Christ and as a church family.
