Stan was born in Colorado but raised in Texas. He gave his life to Christ as a child but it wasn't until High School that he really started to pursue Christ. It was during that time that he felt called into full-time ministry. He earned a B.S. in Bible and Camping Ministries from Philadelphia Biblical University. He has spent time as an Adventure Guide from Georgia and Tennessee to Colorado. Stan and his wife Lindsey have a one-year-old daughter, Harper, who fortunately inherited his red hair, and a seven-year-old Weimaraner. He loves music and plays bass, acoustic and electric guitar. After spending some time attending and serving at Hill Country Bible Church Southwest, he took a job as a Middle School Director at a church in San Antonio. Stan joined staff in July of 2010.
