Nursery
A child's first experiences at church should be pleasant ones! At HCBC, babies receive loving care and plenty of attention in small classroom settings. Since we know that infants can learn too, we use innovative curriculum to communicate gospel truths. In simple and creative ways, we build into the lives of our youngest children in all services on Sunday morning.
Teaching Goals For The Nursery: We
begin teaching Reverence for God's Word with our very youngest children by
teaching them to "Pat the Bible" and look for Jesus' picture. In our
older nurseries we begin helping children learn listening skills and Bible
stories by repeating the same, simple story for multiple weeks.
