What is MOPS?
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a program designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten.
MOPS groups meet in churches and are made up of women of different ages and backgrounds.
MOPS members all share one common desire- to be the best mothers they can be.
What is Hill Country Bible Church Pflugerville MOPS?
Each meeting provides an inviting environment where women can come—just as they are— to build friendships, be encouraged and gain practical parenting strategies all while their children are lovingly cared for in the MOPPETS program.
A typical meeting includes sharing breakfast together, listening to a speaker on a topic that is of interest to mothers with young children, participating in a roundtable discussion, or doing a creative craft project.
The children's program, Moppets, includes classes for infants through kindergarten where Bible stories are taught and crafts are created.
Is MOPS For Me?
MOPS is for all mothers from all walks of life who have children ages birth through kindergarten. (If you are pregnant with your first child, or are in the process of adopting, you are welcome too!)
You do not have to be a “church-goer” or from a specific denomination to join us.
MOPS is a place where moms can come to be encouraged and supported by other moms who are in the very same season of life… And best of all, to make some great friends!
How do I join MOPS?
Participation in a MOPS group requires membership in MOPS International and local chapter dues to offset childcare cost. Every mom will receive a one-year subscription to MOMSense magazine, weekly MOM-Email messages, and many other great benefits. Total cost is $65/semester or $45/semester if you are not enrolling children. Scholarships and payment plans are available.
