Small Groups

Our dream is that Hill Country Bible Church Pflugerville be a place where no one stands alone. Connecting in life-changing relationships make all the difference in life. We believe that small groups are the best place to connect in these kind of friendships. That’s why we invite everyone in our church to be a part of a REALife group.

What is a REALife Group?
REALife Groups are home-based, small groups that meet weekly for friendship, spiritual growth and interaction with God’s Word.

When do groups meet?
REALife Groups meet throughout the week. The majority of them meet mid-week, but some meet on the weekend as well.

Where do groups meet?
REALife Groups meet in the comfort of homes throughout Pflugerville, Round Rock and northeast Austin. Select Find a Group tab for a map.

What happens in a group?
People of all ages meet in the comfort of a living room. A typical group meeting will include food, conversation, Bible study, and prayer. Groups will also do many social activities outside of their normal group meetings.

How long is a group meeting?
Anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours.

What about my kids?
Many of our REALife groups have childcare arrangements for young children with babysitters in the same home or a nearby home. Members of these groups each contribute to provide childcare. Our small group map will identify which groups have childcare available.

If you have middle school or high school age students, they can join a student small group which also meets throughout the week.

How do I pick a group?
Start by visiting a group nearest to your home. If you can’t find a group near you, visit around until you find a group you can connect with.

I’d like a brand new group?
Several times a year we launch new groups in an event called GroupLINK. Look for communication on the web or in your Sunday morning bulletin for upcoming GroupLINK events.

How do I become a group leader?
Group leaders go through an application process. If you are interested in leading a group here's where you start:
  • Download REALife Leader Application
  • Prayerfully fillout the application
  • Submit the application in the church office
  • Attend a leader applicant interview with our Connections Pastor, Adam Brunson

For questions or more information regarding small group leadership - contact Adam Brunson via email () or phone (990-7777).
