Childcare
As a church, we want to do everything we can to make full participation in the life of the community possible. We recognize that one limitation for parents participating in Small Groups can be child care. To help with this challenge, Hill Country Bible Church has created a system to offset the cost of childcare by reimbursing small group leaders for all or most childcare costs related to small groups.
Hill Country Bible Church offers a list of potential babysitters for groups. The small group shepherd is responsible for contacting potential sitters and negotiating payment. Groups may use someone off of this list or a babysitter of their own. Please know that the church is not responsible for any of the names that are placed on the babysitting list. Shepherds are responsible for doing the research on the babysitter of your choice. We have not pre-approved any of the names on the babysitter list; however we would be happy to run a background check free of charge on anyone you choose as your babysitter. If this is something you are interested in, please have them fill out the attached background check and return it in an envelope to Ellie Kirkland at the church office.
Because we would like to protect the privacy of those who have offered to be placed on our childcare list, we do not provide the list online. However, you might e-mail or call Ellie Kirkland at (512) 990-7777 and ask for a copy of this list.
