Ed Center
The Ed Center was created to offer study of Scripture and Theology for those who want to grow in their knowledge of God. This year the Ed Center will focus on companion courses on Old and New Testament to offer more in-depth discussion and study of the reading as we Read the Story to Know the Story.
2009 Courses:
Church History – Details coming soon
Bible Study Methods – Details coming soon
Who should attend?
Our purpose is to help equip the "body of Christ" for works of service, by helping to "Know the Story" so they can "Tell the Story" accurately. While we would like to have space in the class for all who wish to attend, preference will be given to those who are involved in a Real Life Group and also volunteer in an area of ministry. This helps mature the church by equipping those who lead.
You will get the most out of the course if you commit to reading the textbook assignments due before each class, and take the time to do the two or three brief written homework review assignments.
When will they be offered?
The courses will be offered Sunday evenings from 5:30 to 7:00 PM, beginning September 14th for 12 weeks. (Class discussions may continue to 7:30 for those who wish to interact more with the material.) On weeks with other events conflicting we will meet early as needed, or skip weeks when appropriate.
Where will they meet?
Rooms 209 & 210
Cost
Cost is $25 per person. (Textbooks will be provided.)
Registration
Please register before the first class if possible so we can prepare enough materials for the class. On-line registration is here. (Please specify which class you want to attend.) If you are unable to pre-register, come and register at the first class.
