Heatherwilde offers the ideal cozy environment for active seniors as well as those who need a little extra help with daily care. With a full-time licensed nurse on staff, daily activity program and a spiritual care program, they provide comprehensive care for all aspects of their residents' physical, spiritual and emotional needs.

Faith in Action Caregivers
Many older folks can continue to live independently long after they stop driving. Faith in Action, through its volunteers, provides services that enhance the independance and quality of life for senior adults. They provide transportation for medical appointments, to pharmacies, or other healthcare related settings, to pick up grocers and to run errands.
Volunteer Opportunities:
*Drivers: Volunteers drive clients to the doctor, hair appointments, grocery store or run errands. Your children are welcome to ride with you.
*Friendly Visitor: Many of their clients would enjoy a visit or receive a phone call once in a while to combat the feeling of loneliness or isolation.
HEB gas cards will be provided for any volunteer who is unemployed.
